The Valley of the kings was really good. I only had time to see three of the toombs though. Irt would be so cool to go round all of them but i just didn't have time.
The longer the raign of the king the longer and deeper the toomb goes so some were pretty extravagant. THe paintings on the walls were amazing. It's really interesting because they start digging the toomb when the king takes his throne and they continue making the toomb throughout his raign and only stop once he has died. So you can imagine 30 years of digging and painting, they're gonna be pretty cool.
I took some pics in there but they aren't that great because you weren't supposed to take cameras in so i had to do my James bond thing to get some photos. Have a look at this link and see the pices. |
